SEVEN OAKS CONFERENCE VENUE in Chartwell is a convenient &
affordable alternative for small conferences and functions. Set in a beautiful garden with abundant bird life and spectacular views across the valley, the 150m2enclosed thatched Lapa, provides a relaxed country environment only 5km from the Fourways Mall. VENUE HIRE Standard Equipment Provided: - A fully fitted kitchen with oven, fridge and urn. - Chairs and rectangular tables with our standard cloths and overlays. - Crockery and cutlery for up to 50 people is provided. For larger groups a surcharge of R25.00 per person will be charged. - Outdoor chairs and tables with umbrellas are available for delegates to relax and enjoy the outdoors between sessions or for small breakaway discussion groups. - For Conferencing a Digital Projector with Pull down Screen is available. Flowers, additional draping or decorations can be arranged on request at an additional cost. StaffA staff member will assist with setup and cleaning up. Waiters and/or Bartenders are not provided and will have to be arranged through the catering company. CATERING We do not do our own catering but we can assist in arranging catering on your behalf. From platters for light meals, braais, buffets, to sit down meals, we will help you to arrange an option that suits your preference and budget. Seven Oaks Conference Venue CC does not have a license to sell liquor but you are welcome to bring your own or arrange with the caterers to supply drinks for your function. MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT The Lapa is equipped with two speakers and a mixing desk which can be connected to your own laptop to enable you to play your own music playlist. However, please be mindful of the fact that Sevenoaks is a country venue and we do not want to disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood with excessively loud music and would request your co-operation in this regard.
Full day: 9.00am - 5.00pm - R 2000.00 Half day: Morning: 8.00 - 12.00 - R 1000.00 Afternoon 1.00 - 5.00 - R 1000.00 Overtime during a daytime function will be charged at R250.00 per hour or part thereof. Evening: 6.00pm - 12.00pm - R 3000.00. After 12.00pm R 500.00 per hour or part thereof. If you require different hours (eg. day-night function) please contact us for a quotation. Payment A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid in full prior to the commencement of event. A further refundable breakages deposit of R500.00 is payable prior to your event. This will be refunded after the event subject to deductions for breakages or overtime charges.
